But some people on here are interested in a survival podcast net but don't want to give there callsign on the forum(or through IM).well if you are talking about these topics on the radio you are already "blowing your cover". I know that people can look up a lot of info on you with your callsign. I think last time I tried only one or two people were willing to give me there callsign and we never were able to schedule a contact either.

A lot of people who are highly interested need to upgrade for HF privileges! It seems a lot of people who already hold a gen or extra license and have hf privileges are to paranoid to give there callsign over the internet so it's hard to "meet up" when you don't know who to call for. As far as getting a net together I think that would be fun. Do not provide account password, SMS, Google verification code, WeChat and bank card. I don't expect my daughter to be proficient in using a Radio "yet" and in a emergency this is a resource she can use to make contact I have a daughter in College and most colleges have amateur radio clubs with willing volunteers.
